For a winter trip down south, giddy up to Daisy Duke’s Honky Tonk NYC (47 Stone St.), which — as far as we know — is the only bar in Lower Manhattan with a life-sized horse statue.
The large, two-story honky tonk-themed Stone Street newcomer has live country music, a disco ball and kitschy western decor like lassos, spurs and animal heads on the walls for all the makings of a cowboy’s paradise downtown. The lights are low, the drinks are strong and the menu is full of comfort-food favorites like a bucket of fried chicken, burgers and sliders.
